Throughout his years of experience on every front of the food and beverage industry, Joe McCarthy has gained a wealth of experience, but has never tired of the thrill of bringing a new idea to life. Working with recognized brands such as Hyatt, Cuisine Solutions, Wegmans, Kroger Co. and NORPAC, Joe has directed nationally branded product innovation through the creation of new recipes and menus, the development of strategic implementation plans and processes, and the analytical management of sales results.

Whether managing the launch of small local restaurants or coordinating the national launch of a new product or menu for a major brand, Joe’s project leadership and attention to detail have been proven on every scale. As an independent consultant, Joe has become known for his ability to couple the creativity and technical expertise of an experienced chef with the analytical and strategic skills of a business developer—identifying profitable opportunities, streamlining processes, and developing executable strategies to maximize business potential.

Joe has been committed throughout his career to collaborating with and investing in the success of other creators in the industry through teaching and mentorship. With his full-time consultancy, Joe continues to build this legacy—sharing wisdom and using his expertise to guide others as they navigate an evolving industry and the often challenging journey of bringing their culinary ideas to life.
